Welcome To Deerwood Baptist Church!
My name is Pastor Jeff Shadrick. I was led to a saving knowledge and my need of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ by Pastor Wayne Skog, in this very same church in the year of 2004. Who knew besides God, that I would be his replacement as the pastor 20 years later. I accepted the calling as Pastor of Deerwood Baptist Church on February 11th, 2024.
I went to Pensicola Theological Seminary after I had gotten saved and felt my Lord calling me to full time service for Him. This past year, God made it abundantly clear that my calling was to be the pastor of Deerwood Baptist Church. My prayer is to please the Lord in this new (to me) ministry.
My wife, Barb and I have been blessed with four wonderful children and a daughter in law.
