Welcome To Deerwood Baptist Church!
Pastor Jeff Shadrick grew up in Minnesota. He went to North Dakota State University and became a Mechanical Engineer. He met his wife Barb in college, and they were married after graduation. God directed them to Deerwood Baptist church in 2002. Pastor Jeff trusted Jesus Christ as his Saviour in this church in 2004. This, in addition to Barb's salvation, changed their lives. He will always remember how God convicted him of his sin and his need of a Saviour. They have been blessed with four wonderful children, a daughter-in-law, and grandson.
Pastor Jeff received, in part, a Master of Biblical Exposition degree from Pensacola Theological Seminary. On February 11th, 2024, the church installed him as Pastor. His goal is to please the Lord in this ministry.
As a church, the goal is to reach out to people and show them God's Word which points them to our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Hopefully people will be saved so they can have a relationship with God and spend eternity in heaven. The desire is for the church to be a place where families of all ages can mature and grow closer to the Lord. God's love will be shown to all who come through the doors.
